Problems from the Polish Collegiate
Programming Contest 2011–2014
The second volume in the Looking for a Challenge? series contains solutions to 44 programming tasks that were presented to the contestants of the Polish Collegiate Programming Contest in years 2011–2014.
The tasks (of varied levels of difficulty) and detailed descriptions of their model solutions were prepared by the students and academic staff of the Faculty of Mathematics, Informatics and Mechanics at the University of Warsaw.
It is an excellent training material for anyone who would like to develop their algorithmic and programming skills or for their own satisfaction explore the arcana of algorithmics.
Thanks to the generosity of the University of Warsaw authorities, the second revised edition from 2019 is available for free download:
The translation of the book to English is in progress. Currently all 44 task statements and 11 solution descriptions from year 2011 are available.
